The Taizé
The prayer form
dates from 1940 when Roger Louis Schutz-Marsauche, a 25 year-old Lutheran later known as Brother Roger, came to the small village of Taizé
In the Taizé
Faith Lutheran periodically conductrs Taise` services.
The church shedules an Advent Wreath Making session each year in November.
The church gathers on a Saturday in December to decorate the church for Christmas.
The church gather for a night of Christmas Caroling during December.

We would love to have a large group of children and adults to sing classic Christmas songs and share a celebration of the season.
We will meet at 6pm and Christmas Carol a friendly neighborhood full of young families.
When finished we will share hot cocoa and eggnog at the home of Janine and David Rush.

Our Lenten journey will begin this night with an invitation to be marked with ashes.
The church conducts Wednesday night Lenten services during lent.
The last Wednesday night service in Lent is a Taize' Service.

Join your family and friends for fun in shady Bidwell Park at 12:30 p.m. Rally Day
includes lunch, games, music, carriage rides, snow cones and more! Rally Day is a great
kick-off for the first day of Sunday school for the 2011-12 year.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and $20 for a family of 4 or more.
Guests attend free! Invite a friend or neighbor.
Tickets will go on sale Sunday after both services.
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND ... your 2011-12 Church Council will be installed at
the Rally Day Picnic. Come and surround them with your support and prayers.
